For two great causes!
The Steelers have named offensive tackle Kelvin Beachum and defensive end Cameron Heyward honorary co-captains for Black and Gold Style 2014.
From the Steelers:
The annual Fashion Show and top charitable fundraiser will take place on Friday, October 24, at 6 p.m. in the East Club at Heinz Field. The fashion show is presented by American Eagle Outfitters, Nike and UPMC/UPMC Health Plan. “Black and Gold Style: Then and Now” will celebrate 40 years of Steelers Style.
In addition, Rocky Bleier will serve as honorary co-captain. Bleier was one of the founders of the Steelers’ Fashion Show in the 1970’s.
Greta and Art Rooney II, along with Kiya and Mike Tomlin, will again serve as event chairs. Steelers’ players and their families will be modeling fashions by Kiya Tomlin, Robert Graham, Macy’s, Outerstuff and MODA Pittsburgh, along with Tuxedo Junction providing tuxedos for the Steelers rookies. Collections by BCBG Max Azaria, Nicole Miller, Michael Kors and other New York couture designers will be providing looks for players’ wives throughout the show.
Proceeds will benefit the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion Program and the Cancer Caring Center.
Tickets to “Black and Gold Style: Then and Now” are available on a first-come, first serve basis by calling (412) 802-8256. Additional information on Black and Gold Style 2014 is available at Steelers.com.
